Ducati adds colors to the big bike industry by organizing Ducati Showcase where the realm of the legendary Ducati big bikes is created. In this event, the first and the hard-to-find classic models will be displayed. Two models of Diavel will also be launched in this event. Safe driving will be promoted. Ducati Riding Experience and the proper bike-care skills will also be shared. Special campaigns will be offered before the Motor Expo.
Ducatisti Co., Ltd., or Ducati Thailand, will organize Ducati Showcase for the first time in Thailand for the Thai people to visit the realm of the legendary Ducati, the world’s leading manufacturer of sport motorcycles with a long history. This event will be held under the concept of “Enter the Realm of the Legend.”
Mr. Apichat Leenutapong, Managing Director of Ducatisti Co., Ltd., said, “Ducati Showcase is the first standalone event organized by Ducati in Thailand. It aims to give big-bike riders and the general public a chance to see the hard-to-find legendary bikes. They will get to see the development of Ducati legends until they become the successful and well-known sport big bike in Thailand. In this event, the first model of Ducati launched in the 40’s will be exhibited. The first motorcycle which marks the beginning of Ducati motorcycle production to be displayed in this event is the “Cucciolo,” which also means “puppy.” It originated after the Second World War. Moreover, on display in this event are classic motorcycles which are unique and hard-to-find, such as Mike Hailwood 900 Evoluzione, 996 Superbike, 999R FILA, etc. The first sport Ducati like Super Sport 750 will also be displayed at this event. Most important of all, two new models of the Diavel, Diavel Stripe and Diavel Dark, will be launched during this event.”
In addition, Ducati Thailand has entered into collaboration with Kasikorn Bank PCL. and Kasikorn Leasing Co. Ltd. as the main strategic partners for comprehensive financial service, delivering special financial campaigns for the Ducati customers under the banner “Performance Package”, as well as introducing the ‘Limited Edition’ K-My Debit Card with specially designed Ducati graphics for customers who have booked their bikes during the Ducati Showcase event.
In addition to the exhibition of Ducati big bikes, during this event, Ducati service team will share their knowledge and insights about how riders can properly take care of their own motorcycles. New topics will be raised every day. Furthermore, Ducati factory team will talk about the standard of its motorcycle assembly. Professional instructors from Ducati will also share their Ducati Riding Experience or DRE to promote the proper riding among Ducati users and the general public. This activity also aims to expand the group of the big-bike riders who follow the safe riding rules to reduce the chance of road accidents. Ducati has been organizing such DRE activities under the concept “Be Safe, Be Cool” throughout the year.
Additionally, this event will have the attendance of celebrities and famous superstars that have the passion for Ducati, including Chitpas “Tant” Bhirombhakdi, Titipan “Golf” Keyanon, Pita “Tim” Limjaroenrat, Sombat "Buakaw" Banchamek, Sirisilp “Kwang” Chotivijit (“Kwang” AB Normal), Patchuda “Maple” Panpipat (“Maple” Miss Maxim 2009 ), Sophonpas “Am” Virogsangphatibe, Siripitch “Guitar” Wimolnoch and Pariya “Ter” Wimolnoch.
