BURBERRY, a luxury brand with a distinctive British sensibility announces its Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign featuring British couple Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge.
Following the recent launch of ‘Burberry Kisses’ and the Autumn/Winter 2013 runway shows, the campaign is a continuation of the playful and romantic mood of the Autumn/Winter 2013 season.
Longstanding members of the Burberry family, Sienna and Tom were shot together as a couple for the first time.
Burberry chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said ‘This was a shoot full of love and laughter. It was such a treat to work with Sienna and Tom, and to capture their magic together.’
The advertising campaign is under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey, the campaign was shot by Mario Testino and features video and behind the scenes content to be revealed across the brand’s online and offline platforms throughout the season. The campaign soundtrack features a specially created version of 'Hold Me' by 2013 Critics’ Choice BRIT award winner and Burberry Acoustic musician Tom Odell, recorded live at the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2013 show.
Tom has a longstanding relationship with Burberry — in April 2011 he performed live for the brand in Taiwan; in September 2012 he launched his debut single 'Another Love' with it's first public broadcast as the opening song of the Spring/Summer 2013 womenswear show; and in February 2013 he performed live with a choir of concert backing singers at the Autumn/Winter 2013 womenswear show.
The campaign is unlocked across all Burberry platforms globally including outdoor and print advertising, Burberry.com, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Polyvore, Sumally, Sina Weibo, Douban, and Youku.
