Recently, Mr. Pakorn Partanapat, Executive Vice President of KASIKORNBANK, introduced the “Can't Work, Don't Worry” program with low premium fee starting at 19 Baht per day, with coverage up to 200 percent of the sum insured and daily hospital benefits of 500 Baht for up to 365 days. The project is especially designed for self-employed customers; who wish to have insurance coverage. The Bank gained a total 21 billion Baht of premiums in the first half of 2013 and expects the figure to reach 40 billion Baht at the end of the year. This will make KBank the number one player in the bancassurance market with a market share of 24 percent.
