The Burberry Autumn/ Winter 2013 collection for women combines Burberry’s English roots with trendy designs for women worldwide. The collection is inspired by Burberry classics and sixties beauty Christine Keeler titled ‘Trench Kisses’ from London with Love. Tradition fabrics such as cashmere in a classic palette of camel, oxblood, black and white are used with innovative fabrics such as plasticized leather. Highlight items also include a camel trench coat with sleeves, gun flaps and skirt made of a brown rubber, a tight translucent rubber skirt revealing flirty heart-print knickers underneath and etc.
For men, the Burberry Autumn/ Winter 2013 presents ‘I Love CLASSICS’, by heritage outerwear, including trench coats, tailoring, topcoats, duffle coats, donkey jackets, Cabans, Chesterfields and prints, needle-punched heart sweaters. The ‘classics’ is specified as check revealing throughout short cashmere scarves and in the side-panels of ruggedly leather-trimmed Boston bags. However, the new collection adds a touch of whimsy with heart motifs, animal-print trims, over-sizing military accents. The collection also combines innovation and levity in traditional coats made-of light-weight transparent rubber and a heart lining. Colors follow the classic line — trench, camel, Windsor red, dark royal purple, dark racing green and more.
