Movenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket has appointed Bertrand Margerie as its new Resident Manager. In his capacity, Bertrand will oversee all managerial aspects of operational functions, and will assist the hotel’s General Manager in strategic business activities.
Born and educated in France, Bertrand graduated from the National School of Trade & Tourism, France. Prior to joining M?venpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket, he has had an extensive international hotel background having worked for a variety of international brand hotels mainly throughout Europe, Africa and Middle-East during his 26-year career, most recently as Resident Manager for InterContinental Aqaba Resort in Jordan.

In his new position, Bertrand is expected to assist the hotel’s General Manager in continuing to build the hotel’s service of Swiss excellence combined with the warmth of Thai hospitality.
