VIE Hotel Bangkok, led by Mr. Banthueng Talayarak (2nd from right in the picture), Resident Manager ofVIE Hotel Bangkok, recently gave a warm welcome to the man who makes women more beautiful Mr. Nick Barose (3rd from left in the picture) during his exclusive interview together with Khun Lex — Nut Mungkung of Kloset (2nd from left in the picture) and now is taking the role as new editor-in-chief of the popular Touch Magazine, taken place in a luxurious VIE Grand Duplex Suite, VIE Hotel Bangkok.
Nick Barose is world renowned as the makeup maestro to the stars, having created the stunningly attractive looks for such celebrities as Amy Adams, Alicia Keys, Kate Mara and Julianne Moore.
Nick is a native Thailand who was fortunate enough to have grown up in a family surrounded by women, which gave him lots of room to experiment from a young age, beginning with crayons! Though Nick left Thailand for New York City in the early 90s to study environmental design, he soon realized where his life calling really lay. "The best feeling is after you do someone's makeup and they look in the mirror and feel beautiful," says Nick.
After training with legendary makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin, Nick quickly climbed to the top in his field, making a name for himself in Hollywood, with clients including everyone from Anne Hathaway to Vanessa Hudgens. Nick’s advice on creating a stellar look is just to keep it simple: "Pick one feature to play with, being eyes or lips, but always be willing to experiment!"
