The Community Development Department, Ministry of Interior will organize ‘Bangkok OTOP Runway 2013’ event, the new step of Thailand OTOP go global. The event will unveil the world’s first-ever! fabric handbag made from the water hyacinth fiber. The Bangkok OTOP Runway 2013 is scheduled on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Central World’s Eden Zone, 1st floor.
Highlight item will be the fabric handbag from water hyacinth fiber, embroidered 3 giant pieces of Siamese Ruby. The only one jewelry embellishment handbag made from the water hyacinth fiber weighs over 50 carats will be on auction at the event. In addition, the weaving demonstration from water hyacinth fiber will be showcased as well as variety decorative items and premium gifts made from water hyacinth will also be on sale.
