Inspired by a catch of freshly netted prawns, the enticing “Goong Goong Goong” menu takes you on a flavor-filled journey around Thailand, Japan, India, South America, and North Africa.
Designed to complement BarSu’s local and imported beers, signature cocktails and fine wines, the “Goong Goong Goong” menu reinvents the 70s classic with style in the luxurious crystal prawn cocktail, while its Peruvian prawn and scallop ceviche flavored with lime and cilantro delivers a delightful citrusy kick. Lovers of Japanese cuisine can savor prawn and avocado maki rolls with tobico and bonito flakes, bite into crisp tempura prawns or tuck into tasty teppanyaki prawn with butter yaki sauce and wasabi mash.
Exotic Indian dishes perfect for pairing with ice cold beer include sarson jheenga, a magical mix of mustard seed and Indian spiced king prawns with raw papaya chutney, and the authentic cheeman vevichattu, a regional Keralan dish of red tiger prawn curry flavored with tamarind, tomato masala and curry leaves served with basmati rice.
Other temptations include banana Cognac prawns flamb?ed with Cognac, garlic, parsley and dried chili, and the North African spice marinated chermoula grilled prawns with Romano peppers and fries.
