The first Swedish Crayfish party hosted by IKEA Bangna was a major success with tickets selling out in two days.
The Swedish crayfish party, which celebrated IKEA’s Nordic roots, was especially popular with IKEA Family members who embraced the unique opportunity to attend a traditional Scandinavian summer party in Bangkok.
They enjoyed the chance to be part of a fun and communal dining experience with boiled Swedish crayfish, garnished with dill, tipped onto large tables for sharing.
In addition to the fresh crayfish flown in from Sweden, guests could also choose from a big buffet of Swedish dishes including pasta with tomato sauce, salmon rolls, meatballs, salads, soups, crisp bread, soft rolls with lingonberry jam, and Swedish cakes.
The August 16 party was held at the IKEA Restaurant. It was attended by more than 630 guests.
