SIAMKUBOTA Corporation Co., Ltd.proudly presents its factory which is the ASEANproduction hub at AmataNakorn Industrial Estate in Chonburi Province with an investment of about3 billion Baht. Having driven the growth of Thai agricultural machinery market for 35 years, SIAMKUBOTA expects to achieve total sales volume approximately 50 billion Baht in 2013 after accomplishing 50 percent of the target in the first half. The company focuses on developing “Total Process Solutions” to support the full-scale agricultural management system to reduce cost, increase productivity and enhance competitiveness for Thai agricultural sector sustainably.
Mr. Hiroshi Kawakami, President of SIAMKUBOTA Corporation Co,. Ltd. announces the company’s first half operating results that, “SIAMKUBOTAgained a 25-per-cent rise of agricultural machinery business compared to the same period last year. As a result, achieving the first half sales revenue worth 25 billion Baht,SIAMKUBOTA is confident to be able to meet the target at50 billion Baht for the whole year. SIAMKUBOTA’s ratio of domestic and overseas sales,consisting Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and other countries, is 80:20;thanks to the fact that farmers in the region are eager to increase yield per rai to boost their competitiveness. Next year, the company will establish new companies including “KUBOTA Cambodia Co,. Ltd.” in Phnom Penh and “KUBOTA Laos Co., Ltd.” in Vientiane — two countries with rapid growth in agricultural machinery application, with the sales target at 5 billion Baht in Cambodia and 2 billion Baht in Laos by 2015. The companies have planned to expand and develop distribution network, marketing activity and after-sale & spare part service system. Excluding production, selling and logistics,the two new companies will be responsible for marketing management and customer services and directed by SIAMKUBOTAexecutives to ensure the harmonious policy implementation.”

In addition, SIAM KUBOTA is building a new 32 rai spare parts centeratNavanakornIndustrial Estate, Pathumthani Province, while applying Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enhance spare parts management efficiency and to support business expansion. The center, with 500 million Bahtinvestment, will be served as the spare parts distribution station for both domestic and overseas markets.
Not only aim to become the distributor of agricultural machinery, SIAM KUBOTA also promotes the full-scale agricultural management system or “Total Process Solutions”. The principle is to manage machinery solutions concurrently with agricultural solutions covering the supervision of farming process, land and materials management, logistics system, crop quality,value-added products and agricultural knowledge. The company believes that Total Process Solutions is the answer for sustainable competitivenesscapability both in cost and productivity.”
Mr. Opart added that, “To celebrate the 35th anniversary, SIAM KUBOTA has organized a wide range of activities to thank our customers throughout the year.
