Tourism New Zealand partners with Thai Airways for its Spring Campaign
Tourism New Zealand and national carrier Thai Airways has just launched a new initiative offering special fares to families traveling from Thailand to picturesque New Zealand. The campaign aims to encourage Thai families to explore New Zealand’s stunning landscapes and experience the colourful season of spring by road.
The campaign runs from now until 30 November and offers special roundtrip fares to Auckland starting at THB 29,580* (economy) and THB 87,745* (business class).
Dubbed “Discover 100% Pure New Zealand Colours,” the campaign offers Thais the chance to visit and experience well-known attractions like the geothermal city of Rotorua for its unique Maori culture; limestone caves of Waitomo decorated with glow-worms; the Hobbiton Movie Set & Farm Tours in Matamata; and New Zealand’s popular hot water beach in Coromandel. Other natural attractions offered include the incredibly grand Milford Sound, for the idyllic cruise along amazing fiords, and the breath-taking Aoraki Mount Cook range of snow-capped mountains, pristine glacial lakes and a network of powder-blue canals.
Spring in New Zealand translates to colourful blooms and festivals, as winter releases its hold on the land. During this season, the Maoris celebrate Whiringanuku, a high energy time when the whole earth sings of growth and regeneration.
Holiday makers can look forward to a scenic drive along the country’s beautiful coastline, or through quaint towns amidst a dramatically changing background. Those looking to experience spring can opt to visit the country’s many natural attractions, such as botanic gardens, parks and wildlife sanctuaries.
“We are excited to work with Tourism New Zealand in promoting the country as a top destination to the Thai market. Its spectacular landscapes and amazing sceneries provide the perfect backdrop to a road trip holiday,” said Viset Sontichai, Manager, Area Sales Department, Thai Airways International.
“We invite Thai travellers to come and experience Spring in Auckland and the surrounding regions. From breath taking vistas, relaxing activities to thrilling adventures, there is definitely something for everyone,” added Mischa Mannix-Opie, Regional Manager for South and Southeast Asia.
Thai Airways fly direct to Auckland from Bangkok 5 times per week, departing at 6.45pm, and return back to Bangkok, 8.25pm daily.
