TEAM GROUP signed a contract for the Thaliwa SEZ Class A Development Project (Phase I) with TOKYU CONSTRUCTION Co., Ltd.
On 16 August 2013, Mr. Amnat Prommasutra, CEO of TEAM GROUP, signed a tender design contract with Mr. Toshaiki Kamenoi, General Manager of Tokyu-STD JV, for the industrial estate development program under the Thilawa SEZ Class A Development Project (Phase I), at a conference room on the 14th floor of TEAM Building, Nuan Chan Road, Bangkok.
The project is located in the special economic zone and industrial quarters of Yangon, Republic of the Union of Myanmar and its owner is Tokyu-STD JV, a Myanmar-Japanese Consortium comprising TOKYU CONSTRUCTION Co., Ltd. and Shwe Taung Development Joint Venture, which is also a bidder of the project.
TEAM GROUP and its subsidiary Total Business Solution Co., Ltd. (TBS), which is a Thai-Myanmar joint venture located in Yangon, were awarded a contract to generate a tender design for the land filling and leveling; design and construction of flood levee, roads and infrastructure, drainage system, water supply system, electrical system, wastewater management system, an industrial estate office building, other structures such as fences and security guard boxes; and landscaping.
