Bangkok--6 Sep--Novotel Bangkok Impact
Novotel Bangkok Impact recently held a Graduation Ceremony for graduates of the Novotel Itineraires Program. Employees were assessed on their competencies across a range of areas within their departments to receive their qualification. There are three qualification levels including Graduate, Bachelor and Masters. This worldwide program gives employees the capabilities of transferring their skills from one country to another within Accor.
According to Mr. Christophe Lejeune, Regional Director of Human Resources Accor Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Philippines, Novotel Bangkok Impact is the first Novotel in Thailand to have produced graduates of this important program. Overall there were 80 employees that achieved Graduate Level, as well as 1 employee at Bachelor Level and 4 Employees at Masters Level. Masters is the highest level attainable and graduates included Khun Adirek Adireksarn, Director of Human Resources, Khun Wassana Ruangtham, Executive Housekeeper, Khun Duangkamol Charuskay , Training Manager and Khun Panadda Yansalee, Restaurant Manager.
General Manager, Zayne Boon, said that he was very pleased with the level of commitment by both the staff involved and Assessors. “This program provides the perfect platform to encourage staff development and assure our guests that well trained staff will be available to provide outstanding service.” Mr Boon said.
This program is available in all Novotels and is part of the ongoing training provided to staff.
