AirAsia To Adjust Flight Schedule From and To Bali During Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit 2013

Bangkok--2 Oct--AirAsia AirAsia will be adjusting its flight schedule, from and to Bali, following the temporary closure of Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, due to the APEC CEO Summit 2013. Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed to commercial flights on October 6th, 2013 from 10.00hrs — 20.00hrs (GMT +8), October 8th, 2013 from 13.00hrs — 20.00hrs (GMT +8), and October 9th, 2013 from 07.00hrs — 14.00hrs (GMT +8). As a result of the temporary airport closure, a total of 53 AirAsia flights will be retimed and 81 flights will be cancelled. Ngurah Rai International Airport has also notified airlines of possible flight delays on October 5th and October 7th 2013 for all travel from and to Bali. All affected guests who hold bookings on the abovementioned period will be notified of their respective flight status through their registered E-mail address and through SMS. Affected guests will also be offered the following recovery options: Credit Shell — a deposit in AirAsia equivalent to the confirmed booking which can be used as payment toward any AirAsia tickets. Credit Shell is valid for 3 months (90 days) from the date of issue; Full refund in the amount equivalent to guests’ booking and in form of the original payment; Move flight (reschedule) within 10 calendar days before or after the original departure date at no additional cost, based on availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.
