Bangkok--15 Oct--IR network EMC joins hands with SANKEN, a giant from Japan,to set up “SANKEN-EMC Co.,Ltd to expand its in mechanical and electrical engineering service both at home and in AEC with a world-class standard. It’s a win-win deal for the two sides. SANKEN SETSUBI KOGYO is one of the leaders in mechanical and electrical engineering in japan. It has experienced in the world’s mega projects such as Kansai International Airport, Ajinomoto Stadium, and Okura Hotel Tokyo. The two companies have come closer by forming a joint venture, called “SANKEN-EMC Co Ltd” , to play more aggressive role in ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). In early stage, it has an aim to keep more focus on Thai market, with Japanese as major customers. “Chanachai Leenabanchong” says that this joint venture will help increase our business standardization internationally. While Mr Matsui, he points out that there is more room for growth for the company’s aggressive expansion. Mr Chanachai Leenabunchong, president of EMC Plc, said that the company has formed a joint venture with SANKEN SETSUBI KOGYO Co Ltd or SANKEN, which is one of the leading system engineering expert from Japan, to set up ‘‘SANKEN-EMC Co’’. Under the operation, SANKEN holds a 49% of shares , while 48% by EMC. The rest of the shares are held by domestic investors. The objective of setting up “SANKEN-EMC Co Ltd’’ is aimed at serving the rapidly-growing market, especially driven by the opening of the AEC in 2015. Japanese clients are in focus, including those who operate business in Thailand and also in Japan, which is considered as a new opportunity to expand to new customers. Both are owners and contractors, in particular in industrial manufacturing industry. Moreover, it will also be benefit to create technology exchange and knowledge between us. Especially system engineering, it will be operated more effectively. Clean room in construction is for example. It needs a high standardization and expertise to complete. Hospital, pharmaceutical factory, food manufacturing plant, as well as green building are examples on such a trend. In commercial purpose, green building can help increase its potential in profit earning. “Establishing the joint venture is to combine the strong points between the two in order to increase its business potential in international level. It will also expand its Japanese customer base in Thailand, along with increase value for shareholders.
