Dr.Chawapol Jariyawiroj, Country Manager, VMware Thailand and Indochina,has announced the key findings from the IDC Server Economies Index, a sponsored study by VMware to demonstrate the potential of virtualization in Asia Pacific Titled Vision 2020: Virtualization's Potential US$98 Billion Impact (July 2013, IDC#AP77008W), the study uncovered the impact of virtualization in Thailand from 2003 —2020. Virtualization helps business in Thailand avoid THB 30 billion in spending.
VMware invited a guest speaker, Dr.Sak Segkhoonthod, President and CEO of Electric Government Agency(EGA) and President of CSA Thailand Chapter, to share about the company’s journey to the cloud. The event was held at Renaissance Hotel, Bangkok.
