Visitors at OCSC International Education Expo 2013 will be given the opportunity to receive scholarships from leading education institutes all over the world. The upcoming expo under the concept “Check in overseas education in your style” will be held on Saturday and Sunday November 2 - 3, 2013 from 12.00 p.m.- 6 p.m. on the 5th floor of the Royal Paragon Hall at Siam Paragon Shopping Center.
This annual OCSC event received overwhelming response with over 300 leading education institutes from 25 countries. The event aims to provide overseas education information to the public and serves as a two-way communication between visitors and representatives from the participating institutes. This will help facilitate interested individuals in receiving instant information on studying abroad. Also, OCSC will provide exclusive guidance on government scholarships including Undergraduate Intelligence Scholarship (UIS) Program.
Countries’ representatives will be stationed at each booth, ready to assist the visitors and answer their queries. They have also come equipped with interesting opportunities for international students. This year Australia launched the online competition, Win your Future Unlimited, which will run from 1 October to 18 November 2013. This competition gives the opportunity for one lucky student to show how an Australian education can generate real career outcomes. The main prize includes one year of study in Australia in 2014, including flights, tuition, accommodation, an internship and more. Before the winner is announced on 17 December 2013, seven finalists will fly to Australia for a two-week study tour and meet with representatives of tertiary institutions from coast to coast. Interested individuals who are looking to study in Europe would have the opportunity to do so with scholarships from Erasmus Mundus as it is the European Union's scholarship programme for students and academics from non-EU countries including Thailand, at levels of study from Bachelor's to post-doctoral. Erasmus Mundus scholarships are generous and full scholarships that cover all your costs, from travel to living allowance, including tuition and insurance. Each individual European country also wholeheartedly encourages Thai students to pursue higher education in their country.
