Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai announces the opening of Shang Garden, a new pioneering authentic Chinese cuisine restaurant in Chiang Mai, on 31 October 2013.
Shang Garden is an authentic Cantonese restaurant featuring Chef Jacky Chan, a Hong Kong Chef who gained more than 30 years experience in Cantonese cuisine from many hotels and restaurants, including Nikko Hong Kong and American Club restaurant.
Chef Jacky and his team will be using the state-of-the-art kitchen as a facility to develop unique dishes and express the brand’s commitment to excellence. The menu will push the boundaries of culinary innovation as he regularly introduces new creative dishes refined to a customer’s need.
Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts Group is synonymous with authentic Cantonese cuisine and signature Chinese restaurants. Accordingly, Shang Garden will be positioned as the ideal venue for leisure and official gatherings by providing delicious food, contemporary decoration, two of the finest private dining rooms and the only chef’s table in Chiang Mai with direct view into the kitchen. Shang Garden is located on the first floor and will be open every day. Lunch will be available from 11.30 hrs. to 14.30 hrs. and dinner will be available from 18.00 hrs. to 22.00 hrs.
