IMPACT and The organisers of the Asia Pacific Cleaning Industry Expo 2014 (Pulire Asia Pacific 2014) hosted “Thailand Cleaning Industry Forum” The forum aims to bring together all key players from the cleaning industry to exchange views on outlook of Thailand and South East Asian cleaning sectors, and how to deliver better values for the market and industry.
Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, one of the co-organizers of Pulire Asia Pacific 2014 said “This forum provides a prelude to what to expect from the Asia Pacific Cleaning Industry Expo (Pulire Asia Pacific 2014) which will be staged in Bangkok next year from 18 to 20 September 2014”
Highlights from the forum, there were two panel discussions with key industry players are planned at the Forum. The first will touch on growth sectors and outlook of the South East Asian cleaning market. Topics to be addressed include opportunities and threats for the cleaning sector with the coming of the ASEAN Economy Community in 2015, and critical issues such as rising operational costs, technology, outsourcing trends, changing customer behaviors, health and safety regulations, etc. The panel will also focus on how government labor policies such as minimum wage in Thailand and new foreign laborrestrictions in Singapore have impacted the industry.
The second panel is designed to be a frank exchange between buyers and sellers of the industry, on how the industry can deliver better values to the market they serve. It will look into the multitude of problemsfaced by their customers such as rising operational costs, intense competitions, needs for better productivity, difficulties in attracting and retaining labors, and needs for cost effective solutions and technology to improve business process and operational efficiency. The panel will explore new business models and new product or service delivery formats, and new customer relationship models.

Just like the Forum taking place on 18th October 2013, Pulire Asia Pacific 2014 aims to be the key industry platform for exchanging and showcasing of solutions, trends and technology. The exhibition will take place at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centerin Bangkok and expects to attract over 150 exhibiting companies and over 3000 cleaning professionals and buyers from Thailand and Asia Pacific region.

Although the exhibition is about a year away, exhibitor take up rate has been positive. Major companies that have already confirmed their participation include over 50 international brands from suppliers and service providers like Nilfisk, ICE, Hako Group, OCS Group, Wap System, Santoemma, Vetair System and Horeca Supplies, just to name a few.
