Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom pleased to announce the appointment of its new General Manager, Mr. John Kim with effect from 7th October 2013.
Mr. John Kim is a Korean national with over 15 years of hospitality management experience,
the last 10 of which have been with IHG in both the InterContinental, and Holiday Inn brands.
Mr. Kim joins us direct from his home country of Korea where he has worked since September 2009. Most recently he was the Hotel Manager for the 656 room InterContinental Seoul COEX where he successfully completed rooms refurbishment and significantly improved both employee and guest satisfaction. He is no stranger to working amongst different cultures, having also worked in Hong Kong, PRC and even Switzerland.
Mr. John Kim takes over from Mr. Samir M.C., who has been promoted to be a Director Operation Support — South West Asia InterContinental Hotels Group. Mr. Kim will be managing the 700 rooms, business hotel located in the heart of Silom, a Bangkok's commercial, shopping, jewelry and entertainment haven.
