Robert Maurer-Loeffler, General Manager of Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, has announced the appointment of Rachit Pokesomboonkit to Director of Housekeeping.
Rachit is a Thai national and has extensive experiences in the hospitality industry, with 27 years in housekeeping at many leading hotels in Bangkok. She started her career in the hotel business as a senior secretary to an executive housekeeper in 1986 at the Oriental Hotel (Mandarin Oriental Bangkok), and after that progressed through various positions in housekeeping. Rachit has been Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Sol Twin Towers Hotel before assuming the position of Exectuvie Housekeeper at Royal Park View Hotel, Sofitel Silom Bangkok Hotel (Pullman Bangkok Hotel G) and Dusit Thani Bangkok. Prior to joining Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Rachit worked at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers as Executive Housekeeper.
