- Offering special edition of LINE stickers to celebrate the launch of first local TV advertisement
LINE, the world’s leading mobile platform with 280 million users worldwide, has announced the launch of LINE’s first TV commercial in Thailand. The TV advertisement, which is consisted of 3 different episodes, is based on real-life stories of Thai users who love LINE. The three stories were selected through the ‘LINE Story Contest’ held during September, where over 8,000 LINE users sent their own experiences of how using LINE has enriched their lives. The first LINE TV commercial will be aired on October 31st, and the two other stories will be followed by the end of the year.
Each story chosen depicts the ways that LINE brings people together, engages fun and effective communicate and deepens the understanding of each other.

The bonds of family and friendship are very important to Thai people. We believe that these stories will resonate with Thai people and recollect memorable moments with LINE and recall how LINE plays an essential part in the daily lives of Thai people,” Mr. Khun Nhong, TV Commercial Director.

To celebrate the launch of the first TV commercial in Thailand, LINE will offer localized LINE special stickers that are specially developed only for the Thai users. The stickers, consisting of LINE’s original characters, Cony, Brown and James feature their wonderful life in Thailand. This set of special edition LINE stickers be available to download between October 31st and November 30th.
