Israeli Violinist Murvitz Appears With BSO Chamber March 25

Bangkok--Mar 9--BSO Acclaimed Israeli Violinist and former Concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Moshe Murvitz, will appear with outstnading Bgngkok Symphony crchestra Players in the First Chamber Music Concert of the 1999 season on Thursday, March 25 at 8 p.m. at The Regent Bangkok (Ballroom Room). The all-Beethoven program, "BEETHOVEN," includes a quartet composed of Nora-ath Chanklum and Prakorb Mokaropon, violins; Rear Admiral M.L. usni, viola; and Kittikhun Sodprasert, cello, presenting "String Quater Op. 95 in F minor." "Septet Op. 20 in E flat minor," with Murvitz and six BSO musicians: Prakorb Morkrapongs, violin; Rear Admiral M.L. Usni Pramoj, viola; Kittikhun Sodprasert, cello; Nakorn Kittiudom, bass; Apicet Payonlert, clarinet; Patrawut Punputhaphong, bassoon; and Chalermchai Nattased, French horn completes the program. Murvitz sutdied with Oedon partos in Tel Aviv and Ivan Galamian at the Julliard School of Music in New York. He has appeared in concerts throughout the world and is active as a teacher as well as performer, currently coaching the string section of the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. This is the third season the BSO has presented a regular series of chamber concerts. The 1999 series is comprised of five performances, with later concerts now scheduled in June, August September and October. End.
