Dr. Narong Saiwong, Deputy Chief from Department of Health presented an award to Mr. Alp Atay, General Manager of Pharmaceuticals Division, Bayer Thai for a great support to Young Love campaign. The project is aimed to preventing unplanned pregnancy in young women. Public Health reveals that 1 in 3 teenagers do not use contraception and 18% of teens use condoms incorrectly which greatly increases chances of unplanned pregnancy and the consequent problem of young women being abandoned by men. The safe sex includes the use of condoms along with other birth control methods such as the birth control pill.
