The “Mega Exhibition of Porcelain Painting” will be held at Chatrium Ballroom of Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok during November 20-23 from 10.00-20.00 hrs (except on Nov 23 open until 14.00 hrs only). This exhibition is organized by Vanvipha Studio and Mr. Manoel Filipe Pereira who is known as the Ambassador of Porcelain Painting in the world. In this exhibition, there will be many world renowned artists holding workshops such as Andreas Knobl from Germany, Elvira Aguiar from Brazil and Tatiana Dallest from Switzerland. H.E. Mr. Luis Manuel Barreira de Sousa, Ambassador of Portugal to Thailand will preside over the opening ceremony of the “Mega Exhibition of Porcelain Painting” at the hotel’s Chatrium Ballroom on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 18.00 hrs.
About Artfilipe - Manoel Filipe Pereira
Manoel Filipe Pereira is known as the Ambassador of Porcelain Painting in the world, was born in Sao Paulo Brazil, on September 13th of 1961. From a very early age, he showed an innate sensibility for art. His fascination towards nature, color, and light, grew up to such extent that painting has become a vital necessity, more voracious each day. With each brush stroke, Filipe learned to celebrates life, exalt the beauty and transmit to all of us a unique feeling.
Whether it is beautiful flowers from his years spent on the island of Madeira Portugal, colorful birds from his beloved Venezuela or mystic landscapes evoking memories from Africa Filipe's art captures their essence through his paintings and transmits it to us as clean and pure as the porcelain itself, Filipe's selected material to blend grace and exquisiteness.
Life has transformed Filipe into the artist he is today. He masters with great skill many diverse painting techniques in porcelain. He creates every artwork with his own individual uniqueness accompanied with his unmistakable style.
Filipe's true and sincere dedication to art have transformed him into a great promoter of porcelain painting around the world.
