Bangkok--14 Nov--CITU The College of Innovation Thammasat University (CITU) in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, are organizing a seminar on “Tourism Competitiveness within the AEC: Future Directions for Thailand’s Tourism Industry” , 25 November 2013, 09:00 — 17:00 hrs at the Dusit Thani Hotel. The seminar will focus on global and regional tourism development trends and forces; obtain unique insights into the challenges and opportunities for the Thai tourism industry under AEC; and create a forum to share and exchange ideas on how to enhance the competitive advantage especially of Thailand’s tourism industry. Furthermore, the Department of Tourism is delighted to announce “Tourism Knowledge Management Center website”. It is an information center aggregating integral information associated with free trade agreement in tourism services under multidisciplinary collaborations. This web site is one of the activities initiated by the Department of Tourism since 2012. Tourism knowledge 2012 - 2017 Tourism and Travel related Services Strategic Plan: Responding to the AEAN Service Liberalization management center in response to AEC “ www.tourismkm-asean.org ” will provide complete information concerning the free trade agreement in tourism service including studies and related reports. It will be a source of data for tourism business entrepreneurs and those interested in the tourism industry situations, dynamic trend, studies and research. The format is easy to understand while the electronic files contribute to the ease of access.
