Bangkok--14 Nov--World Vision Foundation of Thailand Award-winning musician Paul Ewing will be showcasing his soul, funk and gospel-infused music at ‘A Night of Hope’ concert on 22 November, at Evangelical Church of Bangkok (ECB Church). Ewing will be performing with the renowned UK Soul Ensemble, whose members have collaborated with world-famous artists the likes of Whitney Houston, Cece Winans, Donnie McClurkin and Lalah Hathaway. Appointed the Artist Ambassador for World Vision UK, the virtuoso recently released his album RETROSPECTIVES to much acclaim. In 2012, Ewing composed Love Eternally, a beautiful song dedicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol’s 85th birthday. For 2013, he is writing a song for the Haiyan super typhoon survivors in the Philippines. This year’s most destructive typhoon has affected at least 9.5 million people and claimed at least 10,000 lives to date. In partnership with World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT), ‘A Night of Hope’ concert is assisting WVFT’s effort in helping disadvantaged children in Thailand and the Haiyan typhoon victims in the Philippines. Donation for this disaster will go to the provision of food, blankets, hygiene kits and temporary shelters for those afflicted by the monster typhoon.
