Recently at KASIKORNBANK Phahon Yothin Main Branch, Mr. Boonchan Kulvatunyou (Center), KASIKORNBANK First Senior Vice President, Mr. Pramoul Chanpong (2nd from the right), Director General of the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), under Ministry of Energy, and Mr. Suwat Chiochanchai (2nd from the left), Deputy Governor (Planning & System Development) of the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), introduced K-Top Up Loan for Energy Saving (Lighting Solution), offering SMEs a clean loan of up to 100 percent of total investment in replacing their existing light bulbs with LED bulbs. Under this program, SMEs will be able to save up to 80 percent of electricity costs and therefore reach the breakeven point within two years. The DEDE and PEA also provide additional financial support for SMEs with qualified investment plans.
