Since 2009, the hotel group has hosted a variety of programs for the children of SOS Children’s Village in Thailand with the aim of help foster the growth of the less fortunate children in its local communities.
SOS Children’s Village is an international, non-profit organisation that seeks to care for children who have lost the care of their biological parents. In Thailand, these villages care for more than 1,000 children through various programs.

The Cape &Kantary Hotels continuously provides support to various philanthropic initiatives in Thailand, andthe SOS Children’s Villages Thailand being one of the most important.
This year’s activity was held for over 100 children from SOS Children’s Village Phuketto learn through fun at Kantary Beach, KhaoLak. The objective of this tripwas to broaden their worlds and enhance their creative skills,unity,and kindnessto get them to relax and have fun at the same time. Through sessions like “create a one-of-a-kind trophy” out of everyday objects, the group of children were encouraged to work in small teams to brainstorm, create, and work together on hands-on projects.
Boongki, aneleven-year-old boy from SOS Children’s Village Phuketsaid “I was very excited when I was told that we were going toKhaoLak and stayovernight! I likedall the activitiesthey had for us, we learned about working as a group and had a lot of fun. At the dinner party we sang and dancedwith the teachers and the hotel staff! Thank you very muchto everyone that helpedmake this dream trip happen.”
