Award-wining Tapas Y Vino will proudly host ‘Spanish wine dinner’ on Friday 29th November 2013, 7 pm. onwards.
The night of Spanish wine dinner featuring wines from Bodegas Fontana wine maker, an authentic family bodega with over thirty year’s experience and tradition within the winemaking sector in La Mancha, Spain.
A Five — course Catalan’s home-style cooking created by Chef Joan Tanya will be paired with a selection of ‘Mesta’ and ‘Esencia de Fontana’ wines.
Menu highlights include;
Cream of eggplant served with goat cheese & tomato marmalade and white anchovies in vinegar paired with “Mesta Moscatel-chardonnay joven 2012”
Crispy King prawn and vegetables cannelloni with ‘tempranillo’ red wine reduction paired with “Mesta tempranillo joven 2012”
Pan-fried barramundi with citric warm vinegar paired with “Mesta selection tempranillo-shiraz 2011”
Grilled Back Angus rump steak with onions and red wine caramelized served with granny Smith apple compote paired with “Esencia de Fontana tempranillo-merlot 2011”
Whisky cake as dessert.
