Bangkok--15 Nov--GHC Asia Chef Bernard Vaussion, known as the “Culinary President” of France, will be flying into Phuket to showcase his creative cuisine at a French Presidential Dinner at Trisara Phuket on Friday, November 29, 2013. Chef Bernard has been cooking at the Elys?e Palace, the official residence of the President of the French Republic, for over 40 years, serving five generations of French Presidents namely Valery Giscard d’Estaing, Francois Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande. A long-time member of the Club des Chefs des Chefs, he has prepared more than 100 meals for international heads of state, including Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden; Albert II, Prince of Monaco; and Barack Obama, President of the United States. For the first time in Phuket, Trisara is proud to present a six-course dinner specially prepared by Chef Bernard. Priced at THB 5,000++ with wine pairings per person, the French Presidential Dinner menu consists of Madrilene Consomme, Cherry Foie Gras, Tourteau Crab Fondant with Avocado, Red Mullet ? la Proven?ale, Truffled Beef Fillet, Chocolate Variation and a Selection of Mariage Fr?res teas.
