Bangkok--19 Nov--Spark Communications
A local-international partnership to create a new world-class beverage facility near Bangkok was announced during New Zealand Prime Minister John Key’s official visit to Thailand this week.
Seeking to continue its growth, Thailand-based beverage producer Green Spot Co. Ltd. has appointed multinational engineering and professional services consultancy Beca to provide full engineering design services for its new production facility.
Beca brings extensive international experience in process-driven factory design, and will be working closely with a strong Green Spot team and local consultancy Dynamic Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. to develop the design for a facility that meets best practice standards.
“Soymilk is a product that requires a complicated and hygienic production process. Our goal is for our new facility to produce the best quality soymilk in the world. We trust Beca. We know they have in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in designing and developing manufacturing facilities of world class standards, especially in the area of food processing,” says Mr Chote Sophonpanich, Green Spot Executive Chairman.
The project is the latest in a 20-years relationship between Green Spot Co. Ltd. and Beca, and follows the successful completion by Beca of the master planning and logistics study for the facility.
Beca’s Group Food and Beverage Segment Leader Mr. Mike Kelly says “the Beca and Green Spot business philosophies of delivering quality products and caring for our customers are very much aligned, so we’re delighted to be working with Green Spot again.”
