Asset allocation features in SEC ‘start-to-invest III’

Bangkok--21 Nov--SEC SEC has reintroduced mobile application “start-to-invest III”, providing asset allocation feature to assess risks and expected returns, and channel to a variety of information and contact details of service providers. SEC Secretary-General Vorapol Socatiyanurak said with more than 100,000 downloads of its predecessors the SEC developed mobile app ‘start-to-invest III’ in response to investors’ demands. The newest version serves investors with more versatility. To begin with, ‘asset allocation’ enables users to experience allocation of their investment in various assets and calculating risks and returns so the users will learn how to allocate the investment to suit their needs. ‘Fund Supermart’ provides investors with accesses to mutual funds offered by many asset management companies. Those companies’ performances can be compared at ease and thus allows the users to make investment decisions more efficiently. ‘Bond Supermart’ centralizes information of liquid corporate bonds in secondary markets and offers convenient access trading channels to dealers. “Although investment is necessary of everyone, bank savings seem to be the most common. Inevitably, however, everyone needs to make investment to obtain higher returns, at least to beat inflation. The SEC has put effort to educate investing publicin a variety of financial products that offer a wide range of risks for investors’ alternatives. Mobile application ‘start-to-invest’ has been developed to serve asa tool opening wider access to financial literacy and more investment choices.Any comments and suggestions are welcomed for further development,” said Vorapol. Mobil App ‘start-to-invest III’ is now ready for both IOS and Android fans to download or update for free of charge.
