The Bangkok Post Foundation and Black Mountain Golf Club Hua Hin, awarded the 2011 Best Championship Course in Asia Pacific by the Asia Pacific Golf Group, will organize ‘The 2014 Bangkok Post-Black Mountain Charity Golf & Dinner’, a one-of-a-kind charity golf tournament and dinner, taking place at Black Mountain Golf Club Hua Hin, on Saturday, January 11, 2014. All proceeds, without any deductions, will go to the Bangkok Post Foundation to support education for underprivileged students from primary to university levels in 32 provinces across Thailand.
Highlight for the-one-of-a-kind charity golf tournament will include the treat to a round of golf at Black Mountain Golf Club Hua Hin and the Golf Clinic showcase by top professional players led by Thongchai Jaidee, Johan Edfors, Mikko IIonen, Simon Yates and Rikard Karlberg. At the end of the day, participants will enjoy a gourmet barbecue buffet dinner prepared by 14 top chefs from Bangkok's five-star hotels, the country’s most respected culinary wizards after a long day.
This charity golf is a team tournament event aims to attract teams from big corporate companies and golfers from international communities in Thailand. The number of participants is set at 30 teams of 4 golfers each. Donation for each team is 100,000 Baht net. The winning team will receive the 2014 Bangkok Post-Black Mountain Golf Club Trophy, A week’s stay at Black Mountain Golf Club’s Villa with a daily round of golf and a round-trip air tickets Bangkok-Siem Reap from Bangkok Airways.
