Dow AgroSciences (Thailand) Ltd., a subsidiary of Dow Chemical Thailand led by Mr.Sayomchai Singhara Na Ayuthaya, Country Commercial Director Thailand, Philippines and Myanmar together with Thai Crop Protection Association, Uttaradit Provincial Public Health Office and business partners in the area jointly organized 'Product Stewardship Day'. The objectives of this activity are to promote using agricultural chemical products properly, safely and hygienically as well as to provide chemical-level blood test by medical examiners. Over 200 farmers attended the event at Sangrawee Agriculture Store, Uttaradit Province.
Dow AgroSciences's worldwide intends to conduct the "Product Stewardship Day" every year. On a certain day in each year, all employees in Asia will stop their jobs at hand and dedicate to product stewardship activities to educate farmers, dealers and stakeholders about social and environmental responsibility processes of agricultural chemical products through trainings, workshops, demonstrations, etc.
