The 4th Thailand Smart Money Bangkok is Set to Spur Investments in Late 2013; With Leading Financial Institutes Joining In, Cash Flow at the Event is expected to Soar Above Bt25 Billion
The Interest News Network is preparing to launch the 4th Thailand Smart Money Bangkok with banking, investment, gold-trading, stock-trading, property funds, life insurance and insurance services from nearly 40 leading financial institutions. Designed to spur investments in late 2013, the event is expected to attract more than 120,000 visitors and generate transactions worth over Bt25 billion.
Interest News Network chairman Mr. Rattakorn Assadornthirayuth, who also chairs the organizing committee, says his committee is now fully prepared to launch the 4th Thailand Smart Money Bangkok. He describes the event as the investment market that will stimulate the Thai economy just before Year 2013 concludes. According to him, the upcoming Thailand Smart Money Bangkok will be held under the “Smart Infinity” theme. This year, Thailand Smart Money for the first time is held not just in Bangkok but also in three other provinces. The events already took place in Khon Kaen in August, in Surat Thani in September, and in Ubon Ratchathani in October. As these three events have won really warm response, they have generated transactions worth over Bt10 billion. The 4th Thailand Smart Money Bangkok is going to take place on the 8th floor of Central World shopping complex. As the chosen venue sits in the central business district, the event is set to attract a number of company employees and business owners including small and medium entrepreneurs.
“At the 4th Thailand Smart Money Bangkok, people will find special offers from nearly 40 leading organizations and financial institutes. They, moreover, will be able to attend seminars on investments. We have recruited famous experts as speakers on a variety of interesting topics namely gold, stock, finance, and funds. The event will also include a stock clinic via which visitors can get one-on-one counseling session with gurus. Financial astrologers will be available as well. On entertainment, we have prepared the performances by various stars including Peter Corp Dyrendal, Great Warintorn, Art Pasut, Toey Pongsakorn, Arthur Benjakul, artists from KPN, and Tui, Ron and Tol of Academy Fantasia. Customers at the event, moreover, stand a chance of winning prizes. We have seven iPAD minis and one Honda Spacy I motorcycle to hand out,” Mr. Rattakorn says.

Mr. Rattakorn says, “We expect the 4th Thailand Smart Money Bangkok to attract more than 120,000 visitors and generate transactions worth over Bt25 billion. Of the amount, no less than Bt13 billion will likely come from deposits and more than Bt5 billion will likely come from loans. The RMF/LTF buying volumes are expected to soar past Bt3billion at the event while insurance or life-insurance products should reach about Bt500million. Other types of products and services at the event such as gold and properties should be well over Bt600million”.
“On promotions, leading financial institutes and insurance firms are going to offer tempting offers at the 4th Thailand Smart Money. Visitors will have great choices for their investments as the rate of return will be higher than normal. For example, participating firms will offer higher deposit rate, lower lending rate, quicker loan-approval process, as well as tax-deductible funds and life-insurance products,” he adds.
Mr. Rattakorn then concludes that, “We are confident that the 4th Thailand Smart Money will receive huge interest because it will take place at a good timing, offer interesting products and services, and include great activities. Bank of Thailand’s chairman Dr. Ampon Kittiampon will preside over the event’s opening ceremony on 12 December 2013 himself”.
Held from 12 December to 14 December 2013, the 4th Thailand Smart Money will span over 3,000 square meters of area on the Central World Life zone on the 8th floor of Central World. The event is open between 11am and 8pm during the period.
