The brand new facility will be a part of capitalizing on the company’s current expertise to maintain leadership in the Consumer and Retail Sectors as well as building the established Fashion portfolio to capture more market share. Operations at the DHL Bangna Distribution Centre will commence once the first phase of construction is complete in mid 2014. Ultimately more than 2,000 employees will be staffed at the site as previously announced in DHL’s Eur 50 mil investment in Thailand.
The new facility is strategically located in TPARK Bangplee 2 on Bangna — Trad Km. 23, Samutprakarn province, close to Bangkok and Industrial Ring Road with access to major roads connecting all regions of Thailand.
