Bangkok--1 Dec--Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide
It was one of the biggest parties thrown to welcome the arrival of Mr.White Stag or “The Master” as well as “The Master’s Reserve”, a masterpiece of blended whisky handcrafted by BenMore’s master blender Mr.Chris Clark. Entitled as “The Master Welcome Party”, celebrities, stars and BenMore fans across Bangkok were gathered to give their warm welcome to The Master and experience BenMore’s new blend which was described as a Scotch whisky created for nights of celebration and wonderful new experiences to Thais.
Mr.Nop Vongphanich, Marketing Manager — BenMore, Diageo Moet Hennessy Thailand Ltd, gave a warm welcome to guests and discussed about The Master “The Master is a leader of optimistic people, people who are creative and believe that small little things in daily life can be changed into something special. BenMore is, therefore, determined to bring something special and different to consumers’ lives through a new blend of Scotch whisky handcrafted by a true master blender with hope that this is what the fans are looking for in their special nights and to make their nights of celebration even more special than before.”
A master blender Chris Clark, who has been a part of Diageo’s Whisky Specialist Team for more than 10 years, elaborated about BenMore Master’s Reserve “I was looking for something smoother and yet gave me the same pleasure that I have had. For the Master’s Reserve, we used white oak made from oak trees that we specifically brought from the woods in Scotland. That is how we perfect the taste that is intense and yet gentle with a combination of fruits like apple and raisin mixed with a smoky and woody scent. It is unique in its own right like a rare white stag that is simply, swiftly elegant.”
At Bungalow Rangsit where a special celebration to officially introduce BenMore Master’s Reserve was happening, it was crowded with young & stylish attendants and celebrities including Tack-Paranyu Rojanawutthitham, Ice-Apisada Krueakongka, Bowie-Atthama Cheewanitchapan, Ying Yae - Nantaporn Teerawattanasuk and JewJew - Sippotai Chantasiriwat or “Jew VRZO”.
Inspired by The Master’s TVC which tells a story of Mr.White Stag who has flown directly from Scotland to Thailand, the concept of the launch was “The Terminal”. The venue was decorated accordingly with a glimpse of airport’s arrival hall and airport terminal signs attached all around. The opening dance of the party featured dancers dressed in flight attendant costumes. And when Mr.White Stag arrived at the venue, he brought with him “Master’s Reserve”, a special icon of celebration introduced in a stylish packaging design with a stag-embossed stamp on an elegant black bottle.
But what was even more special at the event were the 3 special cocktails made with a blend of “The Master’s Reserve” by 3 celebrities who came to the event to welcome The Master with everyone. Tack-Paranyu brought his own character to inspire the creation of “Clark’s Collin” which was a blend of fresh lemon and gentle taste of the Master’s Reserve topped off for more fun with soda. Several ingredients were brought together for the making of Ice-Apisada’s “Reserve Tea”. From hazelnut liqueur and fruit tea to ginger ale which made it a sweet & sour glass of cocktail that no one wanted to deny. Last but certainly not least, “Stag Night” by Bowie-Atthama was a cocktail that brought a delightful scent of mint and the freshness of lime together.
The night ended with a bang when Joey Boy, DJ Spydamonkee and Singha Nuea Suea Tai took the stage to invite every guest to celebrate the arrival of “The Master” while having fun with their performances to the fullest.
