Bangkok Bank Director Piti Sithi-Amnuai (4th from left), President Chartsiri Sophonpanich (4th from right) and Executive Vice President Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool (2nd from right), welcomed His Excellency Mr. Ning Fukui, China?s Ambassador to Thailand (center) as keynote speaker at the Bank?s International Knowledge Talk seminar titled ?Navigating the Changing China?. The Chinese Ambassador delivered the keynote speech at the seminar, which also featured a panel discussion among China experts including Executive Director of the Research Institute for Indian Ocean Economies, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics Professor Zhu Li (2nd from left); Deputy Director of the Institute of Consumption and Distribution, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Commerce of the People?s Republic of China Dr. Zhang Yulin (3rd from left); Vice Chair of Peking University Council Dr. Zhang Guoyou (left); and Chief Executive Officer of Amata Corporation Public Company Limited Vikrom Kromadit (3rd from right). The panel discussion was moderated by the Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Bank (China) Suwatchai Songwanich (right). Bangkok Bank has been monitoring the transformation in the Chinese government?s policies from export and domestic consumption-oriented to being led by international investment, with Asia as a major target. The Bank hosted its latest International Knowledge Talk seminar to provide information and insights on China for its customers ? businesses, investors and retail customers ? as well as the general public.
