Promenada Resort Mall Chiang Mai is proud to organize a Classic Car Parade in celebration of Father?s Day on 5th of December, 2013 in Chiang Mai City. Promenada encouraging customers, Chiang Mai residents and visitors from further afield to bring their classic car to join in this exciting parade to celebrate the love of classic cars and mark Father?s Day Thailand 2013! The gathering also emphasises Promenada?s ?More than just shopping? concept with innovative and interesting events in Chiang Mai.
The plan is for participating classic cars to gather in the centre of Chiang Mai City at a gathering point (likely to be the Chiang Mai University Art Museum on Nimmanhemin road, subject to confirmation) in the late morning, and then to leave as a convoy, driving around the moat, across the bridge and finally to the Promenada Resort Mall Chiang Mai on the Super Highway (Hwy 11 Lumpun-Lampang) towards Tasala, San Kamphaeng. The cars will then be parked in front of the Promenada Resort Mall at the circle drive until sunset, creating an amazing scene and lots of wonderful photo opportunities.
Other activities taking place at Promenada Resort Mall Chiang Mai during the Father?s Day period include the Father?s Day Exhibition by Lawyer?s Council of Thailand Under Royal Patronage, at Event Hall A from 1-5 December. On December 1st, there will also be a Blood donation in honour of the wellbeing of His Majesty the King of Thailand, to be hosted within the same event space.
