Recently, Dr. Norkun Sitthiphong (4th from right), Chairman of the Board of Director of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, or PTTEP together with PTTEP Board of directors received 4 awards from ?the Board of the Year 2012/2013? which is presented by Mr.Kirkkrai Jirapaet (3rd from the left), Chairman of the Board of the Year 2012/2013 and Chairman of Thai institute of Directors Association. The 4 awards consist of 1.) Board of the Year for Exemplary Practices 2.) Hall of Fame - awarded to Board that have been honored with the Board of the Year Awards for Exemplary Practices for 3 consecutive times 3.) Board of the Year for Distinctive Practices, and 4.) Audit Committee of the Year for the second time.
The Objective of Board of the Year Awards 2012/2013 is to honor Board of Directors who perform their duties with high quality and effectiveness, integral components of good corporate governance organized by the Thai Institute of Directors Association in cooperation with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Board of Trade of Thailand, the Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Bankers' Association, the Thai Listed Companies Association and the Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations.
