Mr David Carden (far right), Managing Director, FedEx Express Thailand and Indochina recently joined KhunyingChodchoySophonpanich (center), Chairperson of Junior Achievement Thailand and M.L. Pariyada Diskul (far left), Executive Director of Junior Achievement Thailandto recognise and reward the top student teams in the 2013 FedEx / Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (ITC) program.
Since 2011, FedEx has sponsored the ITC program that introduces local high school students to business topics including entrepreneurialism, international trade, marketing, finance, and project management in a fun and business realistic way.
In addition to workshops, students are asked to create an innovative product and business pitch to present to a panel of business experts. The team with the best product and pitch went on to represent Thailand in a regional final against teams from other Asia Pacific countries.
This year’s ITC ran from June until August and involved more than 100 students from 10 high schools across Bangkok.
