KCE and Bangkok Bank sign a financial support agreement worth 4,150 Million Baht to finance construction of a new plant to accommodate continuous growth

Bangkok--12 Dec--Integrated Communication KCE Electronics Public Co., Ltd. (KCE), a top producer and exporter of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) in South East Asia,has signed an agreement to receive a financial support worth 4,150 Million Baht from Bangkok Bank. The funding is to finance the construction of a new PCB manufacturing plant atLadkrabang Industrial Estate in Bangkok. The new plant will raise the company’s production capacity to reach new heights –generating up totwo million square feet of additional productivity to its existing capacity – enabling the company to meet increasing demand. The construction will be divided into three phases with the first phase scheduled to commence operation by the end of 2014, and, the last phase to be fully operational by the end of 2016. Held on December 12th, at Bangkok Bank Headquarters, the signing ceremony was attended by Mr. BanchaOngkosit, Executive Chairman,andMr. PanjaSenadisaiDirector, KCE Electronics Public Co., Ltd. or KCE; as well as, Mr. ChartsiriSophonpanich, President and, Mr. ChansakFuangfu, Senior Executive Vice President, Bangkok Bank PCL. Mr. BanchaOngkosit, Executive Chairman, KCE Electronics Public Co., Ltd. or KCE, revealed that, “This KCE-Bangkok Bank partnership isto support construction of a new PCB manufacturing plant and it clearly reflects the trust that Bangkok Bank has placed in the growth potential of KCE. Such great support is very much welcomed by all of us at KCE, and we are determined to see this project through to successful completion. The new plant is anticipated to boost the company’s production capacity by providing up to 2 million square feet of additional productivity to its existing capacity – enabling the company to meet with increasing demands of both existing and new clients.” The new plant will be constructed on a 19-3-71 rai land plot within Ladkrabang Industrial Estate in Bangkok. The land is fully owned by the company and is not far from its existing plant. Once the new plant is complete and fully operational, it is expected to make KCE Group the largest Printed Circuit Board (PCB) producer and exporter in South East Asia,and, ranking among the world’s Top 3 producers of PCB for automobiles. Mr. Bancha further noted, “The new plant will double the production capacity of KCE, which is currently 2.1 Million sq.f per month. This will enable the companyto meet continuously increasing demand. More importantly, the new plant will contribute to increasing KCE production efficiency.
