Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce or AustCham Thailand led by Mr. Leigh Scott-Kemmis (far left), President, recently organised “Christmas Sundowners”, a business networking function offering the opportunity to business executives who are the Chamber’s members to socialize and meet other people before Christmas at a very enjoyable event. The event also featured The President Award presentation which is annually presented to recognise the individual or organisation who has contributed to supporting relationship and trade between Australia and Thailand. This year’s award went to H.E. Mr. James Wise (center), Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand. Also presented at the event was the Recognition Award which was given to Mr. Mark Carroll (2nd from left), for his great contributions to the Chamber during his time as Executive Director until his term ends. Mr. John Anderson (2nd from right), AustCham’s Former President, and Mr. Brenton Mauriello (far right), CEO of dwp and AustCham’s Director, are also seen in the photo. The event was hosted by the Australian Ambassador and his wife at their residence, and sponsored by dwp, The Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel and Choice Foods Thailand Ltd.
