SEC voted “The Best Information Booth” award forthe medium-sized booth category at SET in the City 2013.
SEC Assistant Secretary-General Waratchya Srimachand received “The Best Information Booth” award from Charamporn Jotikasthira, the President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand on December 13, 2013. Survey on the visitors at SET in the City 2013 during November 21-24, 2013 on their impression in information, activity and service offered by the booths, the “SEC Investment Academy”, a source of knowledge for new investors, drew most votes for “The Best Information Booth” award for the small-sized booth.
“Exhibition booth is one of the key channels allowing the SEC to be reachable by investors and general public as it opened a venue for exchanging views and knowledge as well as acknowledging the problem. The booth provided basic investment knowledge and sources of information for making decisions, which will help them attaining their life goals and ready for retirement. The SEC hopes that the information offered in our booth will benefit the visitors and be practical for their investment planning, said Waratchya.
