Bangkok--19 Dec--Delivering Asia Communications
It was the genesis for Asia's most exciting new hotel brand. Two years ago Tune Hotel Hat Yai was unveiled as Tune Hotels' debut property in Thailand - and its ongoing success and the brand's rapid expansion are testament to a potent business model.
Owned and operated by pioneering Bangkok-based value-hotel player Red Planet Hotels, Tune Hat Yai was the first of nine Tune Hotels the company currently operates in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Japan with a further 15 expected to open by the end of 2014.
Aticha Pasaprates, Red Planet Hotels country head Indochina, said: "It has been a period of tremendous development and it all started in Hat Yai so the hotel will always have a special place in our hearts. The destination, and indeed the sector, was crying out for a high-quality value product and we delivered it."
Tune Hotel Hat Yai will celebrate its second anniversary with a special offer of US$22 ++ (room only) per night if booked through the brand's website (www.tunehotels.com). The offer is valid from now until 31 March for all bookings made by 22 December. Blackout dates apply from 21 December-10 January and 31 January-9 February.
Tune Hotel Hat Yai's success was built on a great location and price and excellent facilities such as a five-star bed and power shower. It also has fully equipped meeting rooms and spa facilities managed by local wellbeing experts.
The hotel is located in the heart of southern Thailand's commerce capital, a 10-minute walk from the city's shopping, dining and entertainment precincts - including the electric Kimyong Market. The airport and railway station are easily accessed from the property.
Of the hotel's 148 rooms, 93 are double and 54 twin. There is also a wheelchair friendly room. Tune Hotels uses duck down quilts and pillows, with rooms boasting a large flat screen TV, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, hair dryer, tower and amenities for two, spacious bathroom, free luggage storage and WiFi connection.
