Bangkok--23 Dec--Blue Mango Publishing Thailand’s BEST Introduced Independent, interactive, in style member card programme expands Thailand Tatler’s reach to online generation At a sparkling lunchtime press conference held at Limoncello restaurant on Soi Lang Suan, Thailand Tatler announced the launch of “Thailand's BEST”, the new independent member card programme featuring many of the entertainment scene’s top hotels and restaurants among an ever-growing list of partners. Long acknowledged as the rapporteur and publisher for Thailand’s high society scene, Thailand Tatler has become synonymous with quality and tradition, and has established itself as the kingdom’s authority on quality lifestyle, including accommodation, cuisine, food and fine dining. The Thailand’s BEST card is taking a proactive approach to extend its reach to engage Thailand’s growing online generation. Card members can search online, share comments and post reviews on some of the kingdom’s finest dining establishments, including many of those selected to appear in Tatler’s annual Thailand’s Best Restaurants guide, as well as special rates and offers at some of the finest hotels and resorts in the kingdom. At present Thailand’s BEST has over 30 partner restaurants and more than 20 partner hotels and resorts. Members receive exceptional privileges including discounts ranging from 10-50% on food at partner restaurants, the best available rates on accommodation, and a free room-night at one of the partner hotels and resorts. In addition, the programme will create special members-only events and activities. Thailand’s BEST will provide members with a passport to this upscale lifestyle, driving incremental income to our partners’ doors - without one baht being spent by the partner. We work with the best, whether they are independents or in hotels, and they must be selected, earning a place in our programme, a profile on our website and our stamp on their door. Thailand’s BEST was created as a project-focused partnership between Thailand Tatler and Call Centre Guru (CCG), an experienced and successful call centre marketing company. They have an existing database of more than 20,000 exclusive diners in Thailand. The principals of the firm have many years of experience in setting up and running such programme in Thailand. There are three key components to the Thailand’s BEST programme: - Partners The restaurants, hotels, bars and clubs that have agreed to join the programme. CCG is responsible for recruiting partners, training their people, and maintaining ongoing contact with partners, including developing special promotions and tracking card usage by members at their establishments. - Members The individuals and companies that pay an annual fee to be a member of the programme. They are recruited via the call centre, online promotion and other promotional channels. All sales are handled by CCG’s trained sales personnel. Upon payment of their membership fees, the member receives a photo ID card which they present to the partner to confirm membership in Thailand’s BEST and receive the relevant benefits. - Operations The operations team is managed and operated by CCG.
