Japanese businesses look to gain a foothold in Thai market
Franchise Advantage Inc. (FCA), a consulting firm specializing in the franchising business, will host a business seminar that aims to create opportunities for new business partners looking to bring Japanese business practices to Thailand.
The seminar will be held at the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology in Bangkok on January 14th and will demonstrate opportunities for Thai investors such as service business operator, chain business developer, developer, bank, venture capital and so on, to work with Japanese companies that wish to establish themselves in Thailand, as well as detailing how Thai and Japanese companies can work together and establish the “Omotenashi” spirit of hospitality as the central pillar of their business.
Additionally, FCA will also advise prospective Thai investors on a range of business issues including education and training, packaging, product development, store openings and business support.

Many Thais are familiar with established Japanese traditions, but few are yet familiar with the spirit of Omotenashi and how it is applied to a modern setting. FCA aims to inform potential Thai investors of the Omotenashi spirit and discover how it can be applied to their business, as well as be a conduit in connecting investors with Japanese business that wish to establish themselves in Thailand. As part of the Omotenashi initiative,FCA are hosting Cool Japan Thailand 2014 at Siam Discovery Grand Hall between January 9th and 14th where a range of Japanese businesses will be represented giving Thai people the chance to experience Omotenashi for themselves.
