Bangkok Bank is celebrating Chinese New Year 2014 by giving away red "Ang Pao" packets with gold-embossed Chinese characters carrying the message: "Wishing you all good things for the New Year". The packet is decorated with the Chinese letter ‘Fu’, which means ‘Happiness’ or ‘Luck’, surrounded by lotuses – China’s auspicious flower and a symbol of Bangkok Bank. Each year Bangkok Bank gives the red packets to its customers for them to use when giving blessings to other people at Chinese New Year.
