This year’s annual ‘Season’s Greetings Donation for Charity’ project has been another outstanding success with a grand total of Baht 590,000 raised for worthy causes.
Money normally spent on sending Christmas cards to valued guests and business associates was donated to charity. This year saw 19 leading hotels make donations to help provide a better and brighter future for children.
A total of Baht 490,000 of the money raised will go to Baan Pa-De School in Tak province to help rebuild the school buildings that were damaged by a landslide.
The Bangkok Post Foundation and the Nation University will also receive Baht 50,000 each.
The 19 leading Bangkok hotels taking part in the ‘Season’s Greetings Donation for Charity’ project were Amari Hotels & Resorts, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort, Intercontinental Bangkok, Bangkok Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Conrad Bangkok Hotel, JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, The Peninsula Bangkok, Plaza Athenee Bangkok, The Landmark Bangkok Hotel, Le Meridien Bangkok Hotel, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Park Plaza Sukhumvit Hotel, Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, Swissotel Nai Lert Park Bangkok, The St. Regis and Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit.
